Job Description
Pacific West Ambulance on the beautiful Central Oregon Coast has an immediate opening for a full time EMT. Our Ambulance Department responds to emergency calls in the 911 system of Lincoln County as well as both non emergent and emergent interfacility transports, often from level 4 trauma centers to higher levels of care utilizing multiple IV pumps and monitoring ventilators. Lincoln County Oregon is known for it's natural beauty and experiences a large population surge during the summer months that often is associated with an increased call volume. On average, the company runs 600 calls per month. Pacific West EMTs work with a Paramedic partner in the 911 response system on shifts ranging from 12 - 24 hours out of 5 stations throughout Lincoln County, including: Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, Newport, Waldport, and Toledo. Every station is equipped a full kitchen, private sleeping quarters, and crew areas with couches, recliners, and TVs.
