Description Assists in the delivery of direct and indirect patient care, within the EMT Paramedic legal scope of practice, under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Physician. Provides the delegated clinical and ancillary tasks for which training has been provided in a timely and customer friendly manner.
Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A. High School diploma or equivalent
B. Successful completion of EMT-P class
C. Knowledge of normal characteristics of growth and development throughout the span of life.
Licensure preferred:
Current EMT-P licensure in the State of Illinois. Completion of licensure required within 6 months of hire.
