Job Description
FirstMed Ambulance Services Inc. is seeking new and experienced EMT Drivers and Attendants for full-time and part-time positions, to meet the growing demand in our Service area.

We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated candidates who are pursuing career advancements in EMS, Health Care industry and mostly advancement within the company. Some advancement opportunities currently available are field training officer, as well as other supervisor positions for experienced and qualified applicants.

FirstMed Ambulance Services, Inc. is a subcontractor of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and their Disaster Response Network with the opportunity to respond to a natural or man-made disaster within the United States. Deployments can last anywhere from 3-30 days. FirstMed Ambulance also has been chosen to provided back up 911 BLS services to the city of Long Beach Fire Department.

12 hour shifts
24 hour shifts

EMT Qualifications:
EMT Basic Certification (Los Angeles County Scope of Practice if initial certification outside of LA County)
Current Healthcare CPR Card
Ambulance Drivers Permit
California Drivers License
Current original DMV "H-6" printout
Medical Examiner's Certificate (DL51)
Must be able to get LA City DOT Permit
