Description First Call Ambulance Service/EMT Inc. is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Eaton, OH.

So what are we looking for in a candidate?
As an EMT you will be responsible for performing lifesaving procedures, care and defensive driving in the delivery of EMS through the response of transport of patients for First Call Ambulance Service.
Additional Responsibilities/Requirements:
Performs as an EMT within the scope of practice set forth by the Medical Director and Ohio EMS Agency.
Currently holds and maintains an Ohio EMT license.
Maintains current certifications in CPR and EVOC (preferred). Also, within 1 year of hire date, complete Pediatric Certification (PEARS, PEPP, EPC) and Trauma Certification (PHTLS, ITLS). On the job training may be available.
Must be able to lift 125 lbs. independently and/or 250 lbs. with partner during transports in accordance with State laws.
Completes required paperwork and documents appropriately and completely.
Refrains from smoking in company vehicles, buildings, and refrains from smoking in other buildings and vehicles owned by others while representing the company.
Drives an emergency or non-emergency vehicle in the appropriate mode using defensive driving training techniques, if so trained and licensed to do so.
Ensures that First Call Ambulance Service is meeting and/or exceeding all local, state and federal requirements.
