Job Summary
Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest standard of customer service to all patrons/employees of Seaward Services, Inc.
Essential Functions – The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Primary caregiver for injured or ill crew members and guests
Provide initial emergency care for crew and guests
Perform accurate assessments of injured or ill crew/ guests
Determine nature and extent of illness or injury
Ability to apply splints
Use and apply cervical collars and backboards
Maintain an adequate airway
Treat minor wounds or abrasions
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR ).
Maintain first-aid equipment and supplies.
Must wear Company uniform and required safety equipment
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Submit to and pass alcohol and drug tests as mandated by the USCG including but not limited to pre-employment, random, post-accident testing
Maintain compliance with USCG licensing requirements including physical standards

Education/ Certifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Certified to provide Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) in Virginia as a minimum, and in other states as necessary to support operations at remote sites.
Military Security Clearance or be able to obtain
