Job Details:
EAMC is currently seeking to fill full time positions in our Emergency Transport Services Department. We are looking for various levels of EMT including Basic, Advanced, and Paramedic. Below are requirements to be considered as a Basic EMT, Advanced and Paramedics will have additional requirements. Maintains operational and response readiness. Inventories equipment and supplies. Uses clear communication techniques. Attends training and education classes. Conducts assessment of patients. Provides wound care according to department clinical practice standards and acts as a resource to team members, other health care professionals, physicians and nurses to provide patients with optimum care. Utilizes critical thinking skills in response to the scene, in medical care of patients, and in transport of patients. Adheres to departmental policy and procedure.
Minimum Required:
EMT Basic License
BCLS
Valid Drivers License
Emergency Vehicle Operators Certificate
Must submit to a license check and be accepted by the current service vehicle insurer.
Must have a full range of body motion and dexterity to allow for significant handling , pulling and lifting of patients, pushing, transferring
One year of continuous work experience
