Job Summary:
The Flight Paramedic is an EMT Paramedic (1) who performs University MedEvac transport missions and (2) who performs certain activities, following the order of a medical command physician and in conformity with approved medical protocols, while supporting and assisting the Flight RN.
Skills & Abilities:
Ongoing validated competency as required both generally and within unit parameters as they relate to the patient populations' needs.
Qualifications
Training & Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
The completion of an EMS approved paramedic course.
Current ACLS and PALS Certification
Successful completion of orientation and Flight Team Training Program.
Completion of HUH Trauma modules within 6 months of employment.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years as an active EMT Paramedic.
Required Licenses:
EMT Paramedic Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of Health Services.
NREMT-P Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
About Hahnemann University Hospital The PGY1 pharmacy residency program at Hahnemann University Hospital will provide an excellent training experience that will develop the resident both clinically and professionally. The purpose of the residency program is to prepare pharmacists for positions in clinical practice, academia, and advanced practice in a PGY2 specialty training program. Upon completion, residents will be self-directed learners possessing clinical competence, leadership and professional skills while exhibiting the confidence to excel in diverse practice environments.
