Stanly County Emergency Services is accepting applications for a full-time paramedic position.
Stanly County Emergency Services provides BLS and ALS care to all citizens in Stanly County. Our service works a 24/48 hr. shift. The county covers approximately 400 sq. miles and is bordered by Badin Lake and Lake Tillery with an estimated population of 60,000.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from high school and completion of a paramedic degree or certification program. Must poses and maintain a valid NC driver’s license. Current certification through NC Office of Emergency Medical Services as an EMT Paramedic. Prefer applicants with successful completion of ACLS, PALS, and BTLS courses. Students currently enrolled in a paramedic program may apply. All applicants will have to pass a physical and pre-employment drug screening. Working conditions are inside/outside and candidates must be able to lift 250 pounds with one assistant.
