Job Description:
Performs 12 lead ECG and places patients on continuous cardiac monitoring. Applies accurate orthopedic splinting devices. Performs patient phlebotomy following department and facility policies and procedures. Provides wound care according to department clinical practice standards and acts as a resource to physicians and nurses to provide patients with optimum care. Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies to optimize delivery of patient care and treatment.

Job & Education Requirements:
EMT basic or 1-2 years Clinical Technician or related experience. Experience in acute-care settings is preferred.
An Emergency Medical Technician must have EMT-B training and EMT-B and American Heart Association CPR certification. American Heart Association ACLS preferred. A Paramedic/EMT/CCT with current national registry is preferred. Such candidate must be able to read, write, speak and understand English; have verbal and written communication skills; have computer skills (IDX).
High school diploma or GED required.
This position has rotating shift, and there is a weekend and holiday requirement.
