We are seeking a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT to work per diem, on call as needed as a Medcor Worksite Health Technician at our on-site occupational health clinic in Denver, CO. Our occ health clinic is located on site our client's location.
Requirements:
2 years working experience for RN's, LPNs, Paramedics, and EMT's. Acute care experience preferred, and active CPR or BLS required.
Job Duties Include
Participate in daily operations at Medcor's on-site clinic
Triage, Assessment, & Treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence Based Medicine protocols and/or PCGs (Patient Care Guidelines)
Pre-employment and post-offer screenings
Physical Assessment Testing (PATs) - Blood Pressure, Pulse, Audio testing, Fit testing
Case management
Medical charting
OSHA record-keeping
General administrative duties Requirements:
Keyboarding speed of 30 wpm
Ability to lift a 50lbs jump bag
Minimum of 2 Years field experience
Current unrestricted licensure/certification at required level
Current CPR/BLS
Computer proficiency; familiarity with EMR software
Excellent verbal/written communications skills
Self motivated, positive, friendly attitude
Ideally - Nurses should have experience in Occupational health, emergency medicine or critical care.
