Job Description
AMED EMS, based out of Altoona, Blair County, PA is currently seeking a full-time Paramedic. We are a municipal ambulance authority that provides 911 response and non-emergency transport services to the majority of Blair County and the surrounding areas. We operate five stations and respond to an average of 15,000 calls per year. We are looking to hire motivated, professional, and experienced care providers. Eight (8), ten (10), twelve (12), and sixteen (16) hour shifts available. We offer higher than competitive wages and a large benefit package. We have no residency requirements.
Position Requirements:
PA Dept of Health Paramedic certification
CPR
ACLS
PALS
ITLS, PHTLS, or comparable
EVOC
PA drivers license
Federal and State criminal clearances
PA ChildLine clearance
Medical, drug and alcohol, and functional capacity screens
