The City of Sidney is currently hiring for Firefighter/Paramedic. All testing through National Testing Network (NTN) must be completed by December 18, 2015.
Salary Information: $47,936 to $60,383
Benefit Information: Paramedic Bonus $2940 annually and Education Bonus $1800 annually
Job Requirements
Age: 18
US Citizen: Lawfully work in the U.S.
High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid OHIO State Driver's License: Yes
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Felony, Criminal Activity Disqualifiers:
Must be able to pass BCI and FBI background investigation.
Additional Information:
Ohio applicants with military experience or have FF2 and/or Paramedic certification will receive up to 20% bonus credit on their score. Ohio applicants who have previous military experience must file a certificate of service or honorable discharge (DD Form 214) with their application packet in order to qualify for the military credit points on the written examination.
Applicants who have Ohio FF2, Paramedic certification, or College degree in Fire Science must submit copies of certifications or degree in order to receive credit points on the written examination. No applicant will receive more than 20% credit points on the examination.
