Job Description:
Provides high quality pre-hospital and inter-facility advanced life support including assessment triage, and treatment
utilizing established Clinical Operating Guidelines approved by the GHS Mobile Care Medical Control, with scope of practice; assesses the nature and extent of the illness and injury to establish and prioritize care needed for safe transport of the critical care patient to an appropriate facility. Is qualified to provide care for patients across the life-span in assigned clinical area. Assures that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.

Job Qualifications:

Graduate of an EMt-P, FPC (flight critical care paramedic) Certification Program with a minimum of six months experience as a Paramedic, SC Paramedic National Registry certified, ACLS, ALS, PALS, NRP,SC Driver's license, and PHTLS or ITLS required. Must have basic computer skills,and data entry skills. Preferred qualifications and/or experience include; Hemodynamic monitoring, Shock assessment and monitoring, Rapid Sequence Intubation, Pharmacology, Infection Control, Lab Data interpretation, ABGs, Ventilation Theory, IABP, GI/GU and Acid/Base, Endocrine Emergencies, Neuro considerations, Dive Physiology, OB/GYN, Burns, Trauma, Neonatology, Pediatrics, Cardiovascular considerations, ToxicologyWMD and Flight Physiology.
