Job summary:
Vighter Medical Group is seeking a Tactical Medical Instructor for an upcoming contract assignment
***Position contingent upon contract award***
Principle Accountabilities:
Provides direct instruction in tactical medicine
Reports to:
RSO or AIC
Knowledge & Skills:
Emergency Medical Services
Tactical Medicine
Experience & Education:
Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of full-time instructional experience as a tactical medical instructor.
Must have attended and successfully completed a minimum of eighty (80) hours of training in adult learning and/or instructional techniques.
Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of operational experience related to the area of instruction. Experience may be gained in the employ of any federal, state, local, provincial, or commercial entities providing armed high threat protective services that require skills similar to those identified in the PSS training course
Must possess and maintain paramedic certification.
Registration must be valid prior to deployment, and remain valid throughout the period of deployment.
Other Requirements:
Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance/public trust certification as identified in the task order.
Must be a U.S. citizen
Level three (3) English language proficiency
Must be 21 years of age
Must possess a state issued valid driver’s license within the United States
Must possess a valid passport
Must have honorable discharge in case of military service
Must submit to and receive a negative result on drug and steroid testing
Travel:
Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific
