A-T Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Trainer for the Fort A P Hill area.

Job Summary: The Medical Trainer plans, designs, and delivers all medical instruction and provides on-site medical support coverage for all range and medical training activities at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia.

Responsibilities: The Medical Trainer coordinates the full range of general health care services for members of the AWG while at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. Organizes training for unit members in the technical aspects of patient care and treatment. Coordinates medical support and reviews and update medical Standard Operating Procedures. Maintains medical supplies and equipment as required. The Medical Trainer ensures maintenance and management of supplies and equipment, including equipment maintenance and utilization records. The Medical Trainer ensures security procedures are followed for storage and handling of medical supplies that are kept at A.P. Hill. For compliance, the Medical Trainer will abide by AR 40-66 as the governing body for medical records, medical supplies, and medical equipment. The Medical Trainer will coordinate with the AWG Medical Planner and servicing medical facilities to schedule pre-deployment and sustainment training. This includes treatment training, such as preventative medicine, Combat Life Saver, Combat Trauma Management with live patient models and advanced medical training. All training will be planned, de-conflicted, and tracked via the medical training calendar and synchronized with the AWG S-3 Operations and Squadron leadership.

Qualifications/Experience: Must have a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in a U.S. Special Operations or equivalent environment. Should have relevant U.S. Special Operations Force medic (MOS 18D) or Physician Assistant (PA) experience that demonstrates the ability to meet the duties described above and to create medical plans to support Soldiers deploying outside the continental United States (OCONUS) and other medical duties in support of contract. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Proven instructor and graduate of a certified instructor training course. Proficient in the use of personal computers with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications. Must maintain physical fitness and be able to pass the APFT. Must be creative and have the ability to look at problems from multiple vantage points. Ability to multi-task, prioritizes workload, and successfully handles competing deadlines.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required.

Clearance: DoD issued SECRET Clearance.
