The Lealman Fire District is currently hiring for Firefighter/Paramedic. Candidates must have FireTEAM testing through National Testing Network (NTN) and a NTN issued CPAT. This position will remain open until filled.Please direct all questions to National Testing Network. Please do NOT call the department directly.
Department Description: Lealman Fire District is located in Pinellas County Florida. It is comprised of residential, multifamily, commercial and industrial complexes. We are one of the busiest departments in Pinellas County running nearly 10,000 Fire and EMS calls a year. In 2009 Lealman Fire District was awarded the Fire and EMS contract for Tierra Verde Florida and in doing so we have expanded our delivery services to include a county park, and miles of beaches. Members of our department enjoy a generous benefit package, excellent equipment and working environment. We currently operate three stations. Out of those are run three ALS engines, one ALS rescue and our District Chief’s command vehicle.

Vision:
* Far visual acuity: Far visual acuity shall be at least 20/30 binocular corrected with contact lenses or eyeglasses. Far visual acuity uncorrected shall be at least 20/100 binocular for wearers of hard contacts or spectacles. Successful long-term soft contact lens wearers shall not be subject to the uncorrected criterion.
* Any other eye condition that results in a person not being able to perform the essential job functions of a Firefighter, NFPA 1582.
College: No
Academy Certification: Yes
Prior Experience: No
Necessary Certifications: State Certified firefighter, State Certified Paramedic, ACLS, ITLS or PHTLS, and CPR.
