Job Description
The primary responsibility of the paramedic is to respond to 911 calls, securing the helipad and other
pre-hospital duties. The Paramedic provides supportive care to the Emergency Department patients and performs approved procedures per policy. The Paramedic assists patients with activities of daily living and assists with the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Basic Qualifications:
EMT-PARAMEDIC National Registry; One year of experience as EMT IT or EMT-Paramedic. One year inpatient hospital experience, preferred; Acceptable driving record; Preferred: one year inpatient hospital experience.
License or Certification:
Current BLS certification; Current ACLS certification; Current Pals certification.
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: Per Diem
Schedule Details: On-Call; as needed.
Weekend Schedule: On-Call; as needed
Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $15.64 per hour.
