
Lenoir County Emergency Services, EMS Division is currently seeking applicants for (2) two Full-time EMT-P positions.
Lenoir County is located in eastern North Carolina approximately 1.5 hours from Raleigh and the Crystal Coast
We work a 24 on 72 off schedule. Lenoir County EMS serves as a primary 911 system with 911 EMD and has 6 Volunteer Fire Departments that serve as First Responders.
We offer Aggressive Model System Protocols. Field C-Spine Clearance, Fentanyl, Versed, Quicktrach, EZIO device, Zoll E-series with pulse ox, CO2 monitoring, 12 lead, NIBP and CPAP. Also in place is a very aggressive triage and diversion and STEMI plan backed by a leading level I trauma center.
Prospective applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal, driving check, and local credential Technical Scope of Practice exam.
Minimum requirements are a High School diploma or equivalency, current NC Driver’s license and current NC EMT-P credential with ITLS, ACLS, PALS, CPR, and completion of ICS 700, 800, 100, and 200.
