
Position:
Sampson County EMS is currently accepting applications for full-time EMT-Intermediate positions. Applicants should be a High School graduate or equivalent with experience in emergency medical care. The EMT-Intermediate will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance with a two person crew supplemented by volunteer rescue squads. Responsibilities include but not limited to providing Intermediate level medical care to patients, documentation of call reports, daily vehicle check-off and daily station duties. Sampson County EMS works off of the 24 hour "Fire House" schedule with three rotating 24 hour shifts on and four days off. Applicants must possess a valid NC driver's license, NCOEMS Intermediate certification (or be able to obtain reciprocity), CPR, advanced cardiac, advanced trauma and advanced pediatric credentials. Applicants must have the ability to deal tactfully with the public. Salary range is dependent upon experience.
