Job Requirements:
* Current South Carolina & National Registry Certification as EMT-B, EMT-I, or Paramedic
* Current CPR Certification
* Clean 5-Year Driving Record
* Neat, professional appearance
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must be available to work flexible schedule and early morning hours when needed for top pay
* Able to safely lift patients and stretchers using proper mechanics
Pay incentives for weekends and select holidays; and overtime hours available.
Job Description:
Provide safe and courteous non-emergency medical transport for non-ambulatory patients.
Transport to and from homes, nursing facilities, hospitals and medical offices, including safely transferring on and off of wheelchairs, stretchers, hospital-style beds, exam and/or treatment tables using 2-man draw sheet method.
Accurately taking, monitoring and recording patient's condition including basic vital statistics.
Safely and responsibly driving Type-2, BLS Ambulance, including proper use of on-board systems and equipment.
Neatly and professionally documenting patient transports using both written and electronic Patient Care Reports.
Maintaining and recording daily, medical supply inventory on ambulances.
Cleaning and generally maintaining ambulances, medical equipment, and transport bases.
Maintaining professional and courteous relationships with patients, medical providers, ambulance partners, and administrative staff members.
