Job Description:
Responsible for coordinating the efficient air or ground transfer of patients to and from the Hershey Medical Center by establishing communications among all parties, monitoring movement of all assets (UEMS, CCT and helicopter), and coordinating with appropriate personnel for the most efficient outcome.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years related experience.
Must have experience with radio communication and be able to read maps and assign coordinates.
Excellent interpersonal communication.
Ability to use computers.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
The following education, experience, and/or certifications would be an asset, but are not required:
One (1) year experience with a medical transportation provider or emergency medical services dispatcher.
Experience in a related aviation field.
EMT experience.
