City Ambulance of Eureka is seeking paramedics to add to our professional staff. Full-Time and Part-Time shifts are available.
City Ambulance of Eureka, Inc. (dba Fortuna Rescue Ambulance, Garberville Ambulance, Humboldt Dial-A-Ride, City Cab, CAE Transport) is headquartered in Eureka on California’s redwood coastline. The county offers pristine redwood forests, numerous rivers, mountains, beaches, parks, a wealth of wildlife and outdoor opportunities, and a sizable and diverse artistic community (see www.visithumboldt.com for more details).
City Ambulance is a private family-owned corporation that has been providing ambulance service in Humboldt County for 40 years. The family's roots in the ambulance service extend back to the 1960's, prior to incorporation in 1975. With two stations in Eureka, one in Fortuna, and one in Garberville, all operating 24/7, City Ambulance provides quality ALS and BLS ambulance service to the majority of Humboldt County, from Eureka to the Humboldt/Mendocino County line.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Wage for full-time (ten 24-hr. shifts/month): $3,800 - $4,400 per month, depending on experience
Potential for higher earnings based on additional shifts, additional overtime, bonuses for Long Distance Transfers, etc.

Reliable, compassionate, motivated, and a team player
Current California driver's license
Licensed to drive for at least 3 years, with an acceptable driving record per company policy
Current Paramedic License
Prior to beginning work, must obtain a DL 51 Medical Examiner Certification and an Ambulance Driver Certificate
