Ambulance Service originated with two ambulances dispatched out of a service station. Approximately thirteen years later, American moved into our current contemporary base of operations located at One American Way in Norwich. In 1998, American became the exclusive EMS provider for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and Foxwoods Resort Casino; the largest casino in the world! Furthermore, in 2008 American Ambulance Service became the provider for spectacular MGM Grand. American is extremely proud of its growth; currently the fleet numbers over 50 vehicles and the staff is approximately 200 strong.
