Job Description
Due to recent expansion of coverage Lincoln County Emergency Medical Services is currently accepting applications for current and future vacancies occurring until July 2013 for full time EMT-Paramedic and EMT- Paramedic Interns.The Assessment Center will be conducted on April 8, 2013.
Successsful canidates will respond to 9-1-1 calls and provide BLS and ALS as well as excellent customer service to patients and family members

We encourage new Paramedics with good attitudes to apply, we believe that we can train and improve skills through our QA/QI, education and mentoring programs, however, training attitudes is more difficult

Additional Requirement :
Minimum Requirements (EMT Paramedics): Education and experience equivalent to graduation from High School and training in emergency medical care to obtain certification as an EMT-Paramedic. Prior experience, national registry certification, and associate’s degree preferred.
Special Requirements: Possession of a valid appropriate driver’s license issued by the state of North Carolina, a safe driving record, Certification by N.C. Office of EMS as an EMT-Paramedic. National Registry and Certified Rescue Technician, A.C.L.S., B.C.L.S., P.A.L.S., and I.T.L.S. or P.H.T.L.S., ICS 700, 800, 100, 200 and EVD certification must be obtained within six (6) months of employment.
Salary Information
Salary: $16.32 per hour
