Description: EMS Personnel are responsible for all medical emergency care from the time they safely respond to and contact the victim(s) of trauma or illness, through transportation and speedy delivery to the care of a physician.
Qualifications: Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. EMT-Paramedic certified.
Experience: The ability to effectively communicate verbally, via telephone and radio equipment; ability to lift carry and balance up to 125 lbs (250 with assistance) is required. Must be able to understand and read English language manuals and road maps, accurately discern street signs and address numbers, ability to interview patient, family members and bystanders; ability to document in writing all relevant information in prescribed format in light of legal ramifications of such. Manual dexterity, Ability to work in low light, confined spaces, varied environmental conditions, and other dangerous environments.
Certifications/Licensure: Current CO Driver's License, free from restrictions and suspensions. ACLS, PALS, Certifications required.
