JOB SUMMARY:
Concentra is looking for Medical Assistant/EMT on a PRN “as needed” basis with our At-Work Program in the Phoenix, AZ area. This includes health fairs, biometric screening, sample collection, and assisting with episodic services. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required.Qualified candidates will have a current CPR certification, computer skills, great customer service and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Previous experience in occupational health with flu shot clinics and sample collection is preferred. The PRN’s opportunities will be primarily during the day shift, but may be asked to cover some off shift hours.
Working under supervision of various providers and/or Center Administrator, in an outpatient setting, provides basic and routine assistance with patient care delivery within the Medical Assistant/EMT scope of practice and required certifications in accordance with Concentra policies, practices and procedures and applicable regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Willing to travel, flexibility of hours
Biometric Screening to include fingerstick or venipuncture
Providing participants with wellness education & review of Biometric results
Venipuncture skills a plus
Urine Drug screen collection & Breath Alcohol Testing
Prepares, assists and accurately completes all forms and patient paperwork

Current registration/license in the state where employed.
