EMT-P Full–time 24/72 shift
An employee in this class serves as a member of a crew responding to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, administering medical stabilization to patients in the field, and studying and training in the methods and techniques for emergency medical care. Tact, courtesy and firmness are required in dealing with sick or injured persons and with the general public. Work is performed in accordance with established emergency medical procedures and techniques, but the employee must exercise considerable independent judgment in diagnosing a victim's condition and applying short-term relief. Work is performed under general supervision and is evaluated by the employee's ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
Required: ACLS, PALS, CPR, ICS 100, 200, 700, 800.
Salary based on experience.
