Centerra is seeking Full Time EMT, Emergency Medical Technician personnel to work in the Columbus, GA area.

Responsibilities:
ERS responsibilities will include duties associated with the facility hazard and rescue response.

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants for the Emergency Response Services (ERS) position will meet the minimum requirements, as described below:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education or business classes preferred.
Must be able to pass a fit for duty level test.
Qualified applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license for the state of Georgia. All applicants must be eligible to meet our customer’s driving standards.
Minimum training in NFPA 600 Standard on Facility Fire Brigade. Preferred current certification as Firefighter II (State of Georgia) Pro-board and/or IFSAC,
Must be certified at the NFPA 472 Chapter 4 Hazardous Materials Operations Level and NFPA 1670 awareness certified in, Machinery rescue (Section 12.2), confined space (Section 7.2) and high angle rescue operations (Section 5.3). Prefer operation and technician level certifications in the above disciplines’.
If not already certified in some aspect of emergency medical care, ERS's will be expected to take such training to at least the level of a First Responder.
Must have a clean criminal record.
Ability to successfully pass a drug screen/background check.
Prior military, law enforcement or experienced ERO personnel preferred.
