Job Description
Paramedic: ALS Specialty Transport
Guardian Ambulance Service provides basic and Advanced Life Support services to ill or injured persons in accordance with the policies established by the Department of Health, EMS Agency of Los Angeles County. Guardian is seeking an EMT-P/Paramedic whom is hard-working, committed and an exceptional individual to join our Paramedic team. This individual will perform direct illness/injury assessment and management, preparation for transport, transfer of information, and compassionate patient care.
Additional Information
Our Paramedic/ALS unit
- Run emergent calls from Local Urgent Cares
- Handle Code Stroke calls
- Provide STEMI Runs
- Special Events
- Movie Standby's
- Back up to Local Fire Department
Job Requirements
Additional Requirement :
Minimum Qualifications Include:
At least 21 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent (supplemented by college level coursework)
California EMT-Paramedic License
Los Angeles county Paramedic Accreditation
Current and valid Ambulance Driver’s license
Current and valid Medical Examiners Certificate
Current and valid CPR for Healthcare Providers
Current ACLS card
Current PALS card
Must be insurable by Guardian’s Driver’s insurance Provider
In good standing with state and County EMSA
Required Experience:
At least one year experience in pre-hospital EMS and Inter-facility transfers
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Knowledge of San Gabriel Valley areas, facilities and Los Angeles area freeway system
Legible Hand-Writing
Good Customer Service Skills
Job Status:
Full and Part Time Positions available
Day Car 10 hours
24 hour shifts available
