Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 yrs 911 prehospital experience with interfacility experience preferred, maintain current Iowa DL, Iowa EMS certification and BLS, ACLS, PALS. Applicants also need to maintain a positive and professional manner.
Description
Under general Direction of the EMS Director, Paramedics respond to emergency and nonemergency calls to provide advanced, efficient and immediate care to the sick, critically ill and injured, and to transport the patient to an appropriate facility or destination. The Paramedic must observe all Panora EMS rules and regulations, policies and procedures. The Paramedic must observe traffic ordinances and regulations concerning emergency vehicle operation.
