Job Description
Provides emergency medical care and transportation for patients. Performs departmental duties for CarolinaEast Health, the EMS department and EMS manager. When the staff paramedic functions as the charge paramedic the additional functions for unit management for an assigned shift is accepted. Minimum requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, current North Carolina EMT- Paramedic credential, current AHA BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification.Need to obtain PHTLS certification within one year from date of hire. One year experience at rhe EMT-Paramedic level preferred.
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a higher salary of up to $24.00 per hour in lieu of benefits. Contact an EMS Recruiter for details.
