PAE is currently seeking a Trauma Medic to support our USAID, Humanitarian Assistance Program
in Liberia.
The Trauma Medic will:

The Trauma Medic will:
- Provide medical emergency care to PAE staff across various locations in Liberia.Liaise between patients, doctors, ward staff and emergency services personnel.
- Provide patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and hospital documentation as required.
- Provide training and mentoring to the staff as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of Trauma/Emergency unit experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience in performing CPR and clinical procedures are required.
Willingness to work shifts, night duty as well as weekends is required. - A valid professional license as Medic is required and must be a registered member of the medical council in his/her Country of Origin.
- Prior work experience in Africa is strongly preferred.
- Must be able collect, analyze and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports.
- Must possess excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- Previous experience working in Africa is desired.
- Experience traveling or living in austere environments is desired.
- This position is located in Monrovia, Liberia. Must be willing to live and work onsite in remote and austere environments.
