USMC Base Camp LeJune, North Carolina Primary Duties: Live fire medical support (range) and emergency medical instruction.
Requirements:
1. Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or ** State of North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services (NCOEMS);
2. Completion of General Instructor Development course (or equivalent);
3. Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor by the * American Heart Association (AHA);
4. Certified Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Instructor by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT);
5. Certified Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Instructor by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT);
6. Must be able to travel with Mobile Training Teams (MTT) when decentralized training locations are required.
Notes:
* Will accept American Safety & Health Institute Instructor certifications;
** State of North Carolina EMTs must obtain NREMT EMT within 120 days of employment.
