SummaryOur growing operation has openings for full and part tine EMTs that hold the current certifications of National Registry EMT-B, MD or other stateEMT-B certification,CPR and a valid drivers license.

The Washington DC operation of American Medical Response provides scheduled, and immediate, interfacility ambulance transportation and event standby services to our customers in the greater DC metropolitan area from our facility in Washington, DC.

The EMT provides basic life support to patients as they are being transported between medical facilities and in a pre-hospital environment. The EMT utilizes medical equipment such as powered stretchers, laptop computers, stethoscope,and pulsox equipment.

Essential Duties

• Must meet the core job functions and job qualification standards for field operations personnel as described in the Standard Operating Procedure manual.
• Unless otherwise specified, the guidelines for clinical competency for EMT-Basic shall be as published in the current EMT-Basic text by Brady. American Heart Association guidelines shall supersede.
• National Registry and MD EMT certification required .
• Must possess a current drivers license.
• Current adult and child CPR certification from AHA.
• Full time employees must be available for recall in times of crisis.
• Must have an acceptable driving record as determined by the Company and outlined in the Standards Operations Procedure manual.
• In States where required, must possess a current Class D drivers license.
• Must be at least 18years old.
• Must have HS Diploma or GED
