EMT

AmeriCare Ambulance Service is seeking Full-time, Part-time and Weekend eligible applicants for their Noblesville facility. Under the supervisor, the ideal incumbent will perform duties associated with providing emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.

The ideal applicant will possess the required EMT license and training as required by the state of Indiana. Duties include but are not limited to:

Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly;
Administering basic and advanced life support to patients at scene, en-route to the hospital, and in a pre-hospital setting, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations;
Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures;
Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further;
Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts;
Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times;
& Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances.
Requirements

Applicants must be high school graduates, must possess current EMT certification and must have the state EMS required continuing medical education credits.
